After breaking away from the Whisperers, Gamma tried to prove herself trustworthy as "Mary," her real name. She saved Alden, Kelly and her nephew, Adam, but drawing walkers away from them. Sadly, Beta found her in the woods and stabbed her in the stomach, killing her. After turning, Alden put her out of her misery with a bow and arrow.
After gaining Alpha's trust, Negan tricked her into believing he was taking her to see her daughter Lydia, who he had captured. Instead, he brought her to her death, blindsiding her by slitting her throat and cutting off her head. He presented the head to Carol, who told him, "What took you so long?" -- meaning the two were in cahoots to take out the Whisperer leader.
Earl Sutton got all the kids to safety following the attack on Hilltop, but was bit in the arm in the process. He tried to kill himself in a way which would prevent him from coming back as a walker, but failed, leaving Judith with the task of killing him for good.
Siddiq was killed by Dante, who was actually a Whisperer pretending to be the doctor at Alexandria. Instead of helping people, he had been poisoning the water, resulting in death. Siddiq discovered this, but was killed immediately. Gabriel later stabbed Dante to death.
The Whisperers really made their threat known when they infiltrated the big festival and kidnapped a group of survivors before killing them and sticking their zombified heads on pikes, marking their territory. Among the dead: Henry, Enid, Tara, Adeline, Rodney, Tammy, Frankie, DJ, Alek and Ozzy

Poor Jadis. Yeah, she's a kook and has a thorny past with the survivors, but it was brutal watching her walk all her reanimated Scavengers -- including sidekicks Brion and Tamiel -- into a trash compactor after they'd all been killed by Simon and the Saviors.
Poor Tobin (Jason Douglas) was the first to succumb to Negan's zombie-guts-coated weapons, with his death coming shortly after he and Carol shared a moment about their relationship. After Tobin went on an undead rampage in The Hilltop mansion, it was Carol who ultimately had to put him down.
Going against his father's wishes, Carl (Chandler Riggs) risked his life to bring in Siddiq (Avi Nash). Unfortunately, during their trek back to Alexandria, a walker bit Carl in the abdomen. After getting a chance to say farewell to Rick (Andrew Lincoln) and Michonne (Danai Gurira), Carl took his own life before he could turn.
One of Negan's (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) more reluctant lieutenants, Gavin (Jayson Warner Smith) nevertheless went along with the violence and atrocities of his boss. After his defeat at the Kingdom, Morgan (Lennie James) was prepared to kill him, but it was young Henry (Macsen Lintz) who did the stick-through-the-neck deed.
King Ezekiel’s tiger sacrificed herself to save her king after he was injured and unable to quickly escape a herd of walkers. She took several down before being overwhelmed by their numbers and devoured.
After being captured by Negan, Sasha (Sonequa Martin-Green) concocted a plan to spur Rick into action. Negan took her to use as leverage in negotiations, but she took a suicide pill, dying in the coffin he transported in and attacked him when it was opened.
When Rosita refused to name Eugene as the maker of the bullet she tried to kill Negan with, he randomly shot Alexandria’s innocent supply keeper Olivia (Ann Mahoney) in the face.
While Rick was out gathering supplies for Negan, Spencer (Austin Nichols) tried to undermine him and convince Negan to put him in charge instead. Negan instead called him a coward and disemboweled him.
When Daryl attacked Negan after his show of force killing Abraham, Negan decided another show of force was necessary, this time beating Glenn (Steven Yeun) to death, causing his eye to pop out of its socket.
As a show of force, Negan decided he needed to kill one of Rick’s group at random in front of the others, and Abraham (Michael Cudlitz) was the unlucky one chosen. He was beaten to an unrecognizable pulp by Negan.
Denise (Merritt Weaver), the kind-hearted doctor of Alexandria, was shot through the eye and killed accidentally by Dwight, who’d intended to kill Daryl on Negan’s order.
Blaming Rick for his mother’s death, Jessie’s eldest Ron (Austin Abrams) pointed a gun at him. Michonne took him down with her sword, but not before he got off a stray shot that took out Carl’s eye.
Sam’s mother Jessie (Alexandra Breckenridge) refused to let his hand go even as the walkers were pulling her in, leaving Rick no choice but to cut her arm off as she was also pulling Carl in.

After walkers swarmed Alexandria, the woefully unprepared Deanna (Tovah Feldshuh) tried to do the right thing by taking them down, only to be taken down herself. Two months later, her son Spencer took her walker down.
Morgan’s mentor in a flashback episode, Eastman (John Carroll Lynch) taught him aikido and how to calm his mind. When Morgan’s PTSD kicked in, leaving him catatonic in front of walkers, Eastman sacrificed himself to save his friend.
After trying to betray Rick and Glenn, Nicholas (Michael Traynor) wound up on top of the dumpster with Glenn. He commited suicide, dragging Glenn down into the walker swarm with him, where he was devoured instantly.
