Nicole Kidman (Satine): Kidman was nominated for an Oscar for her work in the film and won a Golden Globe. He also starred in Big Fish, The Island, voiced Lumiere in the live-action Beauty and the Beast, Doctor Sleep and Birds of Prey. He also won a Globe for his work on "Fargo," for which he was nominated for an Emmy. He most recently starred on Netflix's Halston. He and Fargo costar Mary Elizabeth Winstead had been dating since 2017, following his divorce from wife Eve Mavrakis -- with whom he shares four daughters.

Baz Luhrmann (Director): Moulin Rouge was won Best Motion PItcure - Musical or Comedy at the Golden Globes, while Luhrmann was nominated for Best Director. He later directed Australia and The Great Gatsby, created The Get Down on Netflix and produced the cast recording for Broadway's Moulin Rouge adaptation. His next film is a musical biopic of Elvis starring Austin Butler.

Jim Broadbent (Harold Zidler): Broadbent won a BAFTA for his performance in Moulin Rouge and later appeared in Gangs of New York, Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason, Hot Fuzz, Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, played Horace Slughorn in the Harry Potter films, played Archmaester Ebrose on Game of Thrones and
