She explained on an episode of her podcast, Unlocked, that she "felt like s–t” prior to the surgery, impacting her mentally and physically. She also felt that it was necessary because of her life in the public eye: "That’s the thing, being on TV and having to do a campaign shoot for a product. I’m like, ‘I can’t show up looking the way that I look.' To me, it didn’t fit the brand. I didn’t feel good." Now having had the "quick fix," she feels more compelled to keep up with a healthy lifestyle.

Appearing on Botched Presents: Plastic Surgery Rewind, Kim Zolciak confirmed she's "done by boobs and few times" and had a tummy tuck, as well as lip filler and Botox. She was on the show to correct some skin contouring she had done after weight loss from her split from Kroy Biermann left her with lose skin. "It was supposed to go under the skin and tighten it up and it did the opposite," she said. Her daughter Brielle also admitted, "I've done my lips countless number of times. Botox, whole new jaw, which basically gave me a whole new face. I'm hopeful for a better, softer, more natural look."
