Season Three was not short of scandals and drama, including Jessi's affair with Vanderpump Villa star Marciano and Whitney coming back to audition for Dancing with the Stars. Season Four will pick up on the aftermath of everything that went down in Season Three.

House of Dragon has been renewed for a fourth season by HBO Max. Season Three is set to premiere in summer 2026 and Season Four will air in 2028. House of Dragon is a prequel to Game of Thrones, taking place 200 years prior to the main series. Based on George R.R. Martin’s “Fire & Blood,” House of Dragon specifically follows House Targaryen and its story.

Ahead of its Season One premiere, HBO Max has renewed the Game of Thrones spin-off, A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms, for a second premiere. The drama's first season is set to air in January 2026 and Season Two will premiere in 2027. A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms takes place a century prior to Game of Thrones and will follow the unlikely duo of a knight and his squire as they explore the Westeros.

Stargate is being revived into a series at Prime Video. Martin Geo, who was a writer and producer for the original live action shows, will serve as showrunner. The Stargate franchise first began in 1994 as a film before having three series, two DVD films, an animated show, and a web series. This will be the first television adaptation since 2011. The military sci-fi that shows travel across universes has not released details about the newest plot.

Twisted Metal has been renewed for a third season by Peacock. Season Three marks a new era for the show as David Reed -- who is known for his work on The Boys and Supernatural -- will replace Michael Jonathan Smith as the showrunner. The dystopian show, based off the Playstation game, follows Anthony Mackie's character, John Doe. John Doe is an Outsider who is offered a lifechanging opportunity across if he can deliver a package across a wasteland. Season Two follows Doe in a deadly tournament of Insiders verses Outsiders, and Season Three will follow what happens when he and his friend, Quiet, are framed for murder.

Poker Face has been canceled by Peacock after two seasons. The show follows Charlie Cale, who has the gift to know if someone is lying. She uses her power as she encounters new characters and solves mysteries. Natasha Lyonne currently stars as Cale, but she will be replaced by Peter Dinklage if the show is picked up by another network. Series creator Rian Johnson shared the plan is to have the lead played by a new person every two seasons as he shops the shows to different companies. If Poker Face continues, Lyonne will stay on as an executive producer.

Alien: Earth has been renewed for second season at FX, and the second season will take place in London. Based on the original Alien film by Ridley Scott, Alien: Earth has been adapted for television and takes place in 2120 where humans and synthetics live alongside each other, but everything is shaken up when a hybrid is introduced. Filming is set to begin next year.

A Different World has been ordered a sequel by Netflix. The original series, which aired between 1987-1993 followed Denise Huxtable -- from The Cosby Show -- and a larger ensemble of students at a HBCU. The new reboot with follow Jasmine Guy’s and Kadeem Hardison’s characters' daughter. Many NBC alumni, including Debbie Allen, Reggie Rock Bythewood, Gina Prince-Bythewood and Tom Werner, will join as executive producers.

Selena Gomez, Martin Short and Steve Martin will return as the crime-obsessed trio, and for the first time, they are heading overseas to film in London! Season five was a big hit after featuring names such as Meryl Streep, Da'Vine Joy Randolph and Logan Lerman. After over 10 years and 40 seasons, the Food Network has canceled The Kitchen. Sunny Anderson, Katie Lee Biegel, Jeff Mauro, Geoffrey Zakarian and recurring guest Alex Guarnaschelli will come together for a final season with the finale airing right before Christmas on December 13th. The Kitchen has been known for providing various recipes and cooking tips and hosting a variety of celebrity guests. The show's hosts shared their reactions on Instagram. Mauro wrote, "What a run! After 11 years, 40 seasons, and over 500 episodes, The Kitchen has come to an end. I always knew what we had was special — rare, a unicorn, an anomaly. Shows don’t last this long… and ours did. I’ve prayed and given thanks every night for that fact. [...] I didn’t expect to feel this sad, but my optimism for what lies ahead outweighs the sadness. While it will have an entirely new cast, original creators Michael Berk, Greg Bonann, Doug Schwartz and Dante Di Loreto will help executively produce. Per Fox, the series will feature "all the adrenaline-fueled rescues, tangled relationships, complicated chemistry and beachside heroics that defined the original — now with an entirely new cast, contemporary trappings, tensions and challenges, and a renewed mission to protect Southern California's shoreline."

After 12 years, Catfish the TV Show -- a show about uncovering fake online personalities -- has been canceled by MTV. The two original hosts, Nev Schulman and Max Joseph shared the news in a video, explaining, "After 12 years, 300 episodes and just a lot of traveling around this incredible country, Catfish has officially been cancelled. Sorry." The duo reflected on their time together and then Joseph gave Schulman his congratulations for carrying on the show after he left in 2018. The TV personalities also hinted at hope the show could be picked up from another network before thanking their fans: "To have you share your stories with us all these years, I mean that’s what the show was. It was you guys and hopefully being helpful to all of you. So, thank you for being a part of this. For turning what was an idea and a documentary into a global conversation about curiosity, and compassion. The only season was a prequel to Dexter, following the serial killer Dexter Morgan 15 years prior as he first learns the skills that make him a dangerous man. The show showed his relationship with his father Harry who taught him how to select his victims and not get caught all while doing an internship at the forensics department at Miami PD. While no official announcements have been made, Paramount has opened the writers room for Dexter: Resurrection.
