New generation, same old hook-handed horror as I Know What You Did Last Summer reboots with a sequel for a new era. After a similar accident to the one that triggered the original 1990s horror film franchise, Jennifer Love Hewitt and Freddie Prinze Jr. are pulled back in as a new group of friends find themselves targeted over what they did last summer. The sequel film also stars Madelyn Cline, Chase Sui Wonders, Jonah Hauer-King, Tyriq Withers, Sarah Pidgeon, Billy Campbell, Gabbriette Bechtel, Austin Nichols, Lola Tung and Nicholas Alexander Chavez. It hits theaters with a vengeance on July 18, 2025.
