Though Stephen Lang's The Blind Man is central to the trailer, Writer/Producer Fede Alvarez is adamant the character isn't the hero of the sequel, telling SyFy the "true protagonist" of the film is Madeline Grace's Phoenix. The film finds Norman Nordstrom living "in quiet solace until his past sins catch up to him" and he's targeted by another group of home invaders. "Don't Breathe 2" hits theaters August 13, 2021.
