The first footage from Scream 7 puts the focus squarely back on Neve Campbell's Sidney Prescott, after the franchise exits of Melissa Barrera and Jenna Ortega and following Campbell's absence from Scream 6 over pay. The new movie finds Ghostface coming after Sidney, her daughter Tatum -- a tribute to Rose McGowan's character from the first film -- and husband. Courteney Cox, Jasmin Savoy Brown and Mason Gooding also return. Directed by Kevin Williamson, who wrote Scream, Scream 2 and Scream 4 -- the movie hits theaters February 27, 2026.
