Reminiscence, directed and written by Westworld co-creator Lisa Joy, follows PI Nick Bannister (Hugh Jackman) helping client Mae (Rebecca Ferguson) unlock lost memories in a dystopian Miami. "As Bannister fights to find the truth about Mae's disappearance," reads the press release, "he uncovers a violent conspiracy, and must ultimately answer the question: how far would you go to hold on to the ones you love?" The film, also starring Thandiwe Newton, hits theaters and HBO Max on August 20.
