According to Pixar this is "the definitive origin story of Buzz Lightyear, the hero who inspired the toy." Voicing the original Buzz is Chris Evans, Uzo Aduba as his commander Alisha Hawthorne and Peter Sohn as Sox. Rounding out the cast is Keke Palmer, Taika Waititi and Dale Soules. It is directed by Finding Dory's Angus MacLane. "Lightyear" opens only in theaters on June 17, 2022.
