The first trailer for the half-hour series packs in a lot of comedy, as the series follows "a young, naïve but courageous knight, Ser Duncan the Tall (Peter Claffey), and his diminutive squire, Egg (Dexter Sol Ansell)," who are both described by HBO as "two unlikely heroes" wandering Westeros. The series is set 100 years before the events of Game of Thrones, setting it somewhere between the original series and other prequel series House of the Dragon. Adds HBO: "Set in an age when the Targaryen line still holds the Iron Throne, and the memory of the last dragon has not yet passed from living memory, great destinies, powerful foes, and dangerous exploits all await these improbable and incomparable friends." The series will debut on January 18, with new episodes every Sunday.
