According to A24, MaXXXine -- a sequel to both Pearl and X -- finds Maxine Minx in Hollywood during the 1980s, looking for her big break. "But as a mysterious killer stalks the starlets of Hollywood, a trail of blood threatens to reveal her sinister past," teases the synopsis, while the trailer shows the movie includes nods to the real-life Night Stalker. The movie, starring Mia Goth, Elizabeth Debicki, Moses Sumney, Michelle Monaghan, Bobby Cannavale, Halsey, Lily Collins Giancarlo Esposito, and Kevin Bacon hits theaters July 5.
