"Every path has a price." HBO released the first official trailer for Season 2 of "The Last of Us" at SXSW. The jaw-dropping trailer for the new season -- which will seemingly follow the The Last of Us Part II videogame -- teases a rift between Pedro Pascal's Joel and Bella Ramsey's Ellie, along with violent conflicts with the Infected, Kaitlyn Dever's Abby, WLF -- led by Jeffrey Wright's Isaac --, and the religious cult, the Seraphites. Other shots in the trailer show the romance between Ellie and Dina (Isabella Merced), and reveals first footage of new characters, including Tati Gabrielle's Nora. Per HBO, the Season 2 logline reads: "Five years after the events of the first season, Joel and Ellie are drawn into conflict with each other and a world even more dangerous and unpredictable than the one they left behind." "The Last of Us" Season 2 -- which will feature seven episodes -- premieres on April 13 on HBO.
