A prequel series set in Derry, Maine back in 1962 -- before the events of the recent It film remakes -- finds another group of young kids discovering the town's secrets after more children are murdered. Per HBO Max, the series is "set in the world of Stephen King's IT universe," is based on King's novel and "expands the vision established by filmmaker Andy Muschietti in the feature films IT and IT Chapter Two. While no premiere date has been announced, it's set for a Fall 2025 debut.
