Sue Sylvester just landed herself a new gig: Emmy host!
"Glee" star Jane Lynch has been officially announced as the emcee for the annual awards show honoring the best on television -- and it's safe to bet there will be a musical number or two involved.
“I am tickled pink to be hosting the Primetime Emmys on FOX,” said Lynch. “I'm looking forward to singing, dancing and sporting my finest tracksuit.”
Jane, who won a statue last year for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series for her work on "Glee," got the stamp of approval from last year's host, Neil Patrick Harris.
"Jane Lynch is hosting this year's Emmys. Great call. Perfect choice. Can't wait," he posted moments ago on his Twitter.
The 63rd Annual Emmy Awards will take place September 18th. Nominations will be announced July 14.
