Amy Davidson has a bun in the oven!
The "8 Simple Rules" alum is expecting her first child with husband Kacy Lockwood -- and she shared the happy news on her website.
"It's TRUE… Kacy and I are having our first child, and we are over the moon!!!" she wrote alongside the first photo of her baby bump. "Things have been pretty hectic lately, with so much change swirling around us. But we gladly embrace it all and are thrilled for the journey ahead! So much planning. So many changes to make and preparations to be made."
"I am so excited to blog about this amazing adventure and share the ups and downs and everything in between! Please check in often and see what we are up to," she added. "I am on a mission to learn as much as I can about being a mom, bringing a new life into the world and having FUN while doing it all! Please share your stories with me and spread the word to other moms and dads that may want to join in the conversations. I am excited to be introduced to a new group of people and talk all about parenthood. OMG, I am going to be a mom!! Wow. It still hasn't fully sunk in yet!"
The 36-year-old actress, who's due on March 19, was thrilled when she saw the positive pregnancy test. But she had to handle the news by herself because she couldn't get a hold of her hubby!
"I couldn't get ahold of Kacy. He wasn't answering his phone!” she told PEOPLE. “So I decided to go on a hike with a girlfriend and try to process this life changing news. Kacy finally called me back and I blurted it out! I cried. He was over the moon — a moment we will never forget."
Amy and Kacy tied the knot in Playa del Carmen, Mexico in May 2010.
