In a video he posted to YouTube on Monday, the movie star star recalled a time when his family took a trip to the Grand Canyon, but he was too scared to fully enjoy it.
"All my brothers and sisters and my whole family walked up to the edge, and I stayed back, scared to take in beauty," he explained. "Fear kills your ability to see beauty."
"My father was in the military and he was aggressive, and I was always scared of him," he added. "When I was a teenager, I was like, 'I hate that feeling. I don't like being scared,' so I've spent a lifetime trying to overcome that terrified little boy."
