Mariah Carey and hubby Nick Cannon are parents to newborn twins!
The emancipation of Mimi's babies took place on Saturday morning in Los Angeles after Cannon drove Carey to the hospital himself in their Rolls-Royce Phantom.
The baby girl was born first, weighing 5 pounds, 3 ounces and was 18 inches tall. The brother was
born next, weighing in at 5 pounds, 6 ounces and was 19 inches tall.
Carey's rep said the two have not named the babies yet ... and were listening to "We Belong Together" after the kids were born.
The 42-year-old pop singer was rushed to the hospital in late March after experiencing contractions, which her 30-year-old husband described as "nerve-wracking."
Thankfully, all went well for the actual birth.
Mariah has embraced motherhood, tweeting out photos of her baby bump and posing with Nick nude and very pregnant on the cover of Life & Style magazine.
It's been a stressful couple of weeks for the new parents. In addition to dealing with the twins' birth, Mariah and Nick has been flooded with calls after he accidentally revealed their private home number on a radio station two weeks ago. Good one Nick!
Congratulations to the new parents -- who will reportedly renew their vows Sunday.
