Apparently, faces aren't in this season.
Many designers at Paris Fashion Week decided to obscure their models' faces with masks, hoods, make-up and dramatic plumes.
Even Big Bird would be jealous of Peachoo+Krejberg's lavish feather adornments (below left), which obscured the models' visions and made for a risky runway. Ditto with Julien David's odd ensemble (below center), which looked like a cross between a cactus and potato sack.
Remember, these clothes are supposed to be ready-to-wear, not couture, but there's no way anyone who step out in public like this .... well, maybe Lady Gaga.
