Katy Perry wore three different outfits last night at the 2012 Much Music Awards in Canada -- but only one of them is making headlines this morning.
The sexy singer performed her new single "Wide Awake" at the Canadian music awards show on Sunday, hitting the stage in a nude bodysuit and giant butterfly wings.
The sparkly suit was reminiscent of the one Britney Spears wore in her "Toxic" music video ... and similar to one Jennifer Lopez rocked last week during her new tour.
While the costume worked for her performance, it wasn't as sensible when it came time to accept one of her two awards for the night.
"I had no idea that I was going to win an award after I performed or I would have worn more clothes," Perry said -- using the black bar trophy to cover her butt with as she walked off stage.
