Skin was definitely in at the 64th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards!
Temperatures soared over 100 degrees on the red carpet and most stars came prepared to beat the heat in revealing gowns. Television show hostesses like "Project Runway's" Heidi Klum, "Extra's" Maria Menounos, and "E! News" host Giuliana Rancic took a cue from Angelina Jolie's right leg and rocked seductive slits.
Other A-listers opted for plunging necklines like "Homeland's" Morena Baccarin and "Parks and Recreation's" Amy Poehler. "Fashion Police" cohost Kelly Osbourne showed up matching her lavender hair in a one-shoulder purple gown.
Another skin-baring trend was strapless gowns in bright colors like "Modern Family" star Julie Bowen's neon yellow number and "Top Chef" host Padma Lakshmi's vibrant tangerine gown, but the barest of them all has to go to "2 Broke Girls'" Kat Dennings, for two obvious reasons.
Even Sofia Vegara, who's known for her curves, treated viewers to a little skin with cutouts in her dress.
