"Kill Bill" star Uma Thurman is killing it ... for Campari!
Last month, the 43-year-old actress was unveiled as the star of the 2014 Campari Calendar, following in the footsteps of Salma Hayek, Eva Mendes, Jessica Alba, Milla Jovovich and Penelope Cruz. toofab has behind-the-scenes photos from the "Worldwide Celebrations"-themed calendar, depicting what appears to be Dios Dos Muertos and Mardi Gras. And while Uma didn't wear a kimono in "Kill Bill," she's rocking one in a Cherry Blossom Festival-themed look.
The calendar was shot by South African-born photographer Koto Bolofo, who's shot for Hermes, Louis Vuitton and Dior.
"To be a part of such a globally-renowned project for an iconic worldwide brand like Campari is a true pleasure. I particularly admire the Campari Calendar theme this year as I am able to share a worldwide journey of discovery, passion and style with Campari lovers around the globe," Uma said in a statement. "Each month, the true essence of a 'global celebration' has been captured beautifully thanks to Koto Bolofo, a highly-acclaimed photographer with a keen eye for creating intriguing, stimulating and truly dynamic imagery."
We can't wait to see the final shots when the 2014 Campari Calendar comes out this fall!
