Katy Perry is baring her soul, and looking damn good while doing it!
The 29-year-old looks stunning in her new music video for "Unconditionally." Katy told MTV that she intentionally did not want a strong story line for this video, unlike "Roar" -- instead, she wanted to focus on conveying beautiful looks.
"It doesn't have a complete narrative. I do that all the time; I usually have quite a big story line…. This time I wanted to give a lot of gorgeous, beautiful looks, which I don't usually go for," she said. "But it's mostly just a beautiful video that is supposed to evoke this power of love."
The video seems to be set in a Gatsbyesque era, and Katy wears a number of gorgeous outfits for the colorful presentation. Check out Katy's "Unconditionally" above!
We like the fact that Katy truly relied on the power of image, rather than telling a story or sporting eccentric costumes to garner attention.
She also gets hit by a car at the end, a metaphor Perry says is about what it feels like to fall in love.
