Lisa Rinna may be chic and sophisticated now, but she admits that she's had a few missteps on the red carpet!
toofab's Rachel Hoffman caught up with the actress to get the scoop on everything from her "Real Housewives" diet plan to her clothing line, Belle Gray by Lisa Rinna.
The "Days of Our Lives" alum, who will be selling her new collection during the annual QVC Presents Super Saturday LIVE in the Hamptons on Saturday, calls her line "cozy, comfy, Calfornia chic."
Lisa says she usually sticks to the basics, including her one closet staple -- a James Perse V-neck T-Shirt. However, she admits that she made a giant mistake on the red carpet a few years back when she didn't trust her intuition.
"I did a charity event for a designer, and he asked me to wear his creation," the 51-year-old beauty recalls. "I remember it being kimono-esque and a rust color. That's really all I need to say, isn't it? That would be my one regret. I'm too nice -- I should have said something."
The former "Melrose Place" star is rumored to be joining the cast of "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills," so, how is she staying in shape for her Bravo debut?
"I'm mostly a vegan, and I try to avoid gluten," she explains. "I say 'mostly' because I slip every once in a while. Dairy was the hardest thing to go off, but my skin cleared up immediately after I stopped eating it."
The brunette bombshell also loves to work out, revealing that it's "all about consistency."
"I have been very active since I was 16, when I started doing Jazzercise," she explains. "I found Jazzercise and I thought I found Jesus! I workout because it makes me feel good. I get cranky when I'm not active."
Well, all that hard work has paid off!
