Mindy Kaling just got a major hair makeover!
"The Mindy Project" star debuted her new lighter locks via Instagram over the weekend. Posing for a photo with her ombre tresses on display, the comedienne joked that she's getting ready for a career change.
"I'm blonde now guys, deal with it. @clarisshair & @kateydenno getting me ready for my new life as a R&B singer. Sparkle by @vitafede," she captioned the candid snap.
Kaling also opened up to E! News about her lighter locks at Fox's Winter TCA All-Star Party on Saturday in Pasadena, California.
"I sort of felt like blond hair should just not be for Caucasian women," she explained on the red carpet. "I don't know, I kind of just wanted to do it!"
"The Office" alum has been contemplating her hair change for the past few months -- and we're loving her new look!
"It's just something I've wanted to do the past couple of months," she confessed. "And then I was like, why not? It's not really, really blonde."
