It's the month of the mermaid!
Britney Spears took to Twitter on Thursday to share a fun photo from her day at the pool with boys Sean and Jayden Federline.
In the photo, Brit Brit shows off her tight tummy while wearing a bright blue mermaid tail and a striped bikini top as she's seated between her adorable boys. Spears' rainbow tresses are also on display in the playful pic.
"The mermaid life," the "Work B**ch" singer simply captioned the sweet snapshot.
It definitely seems like the aquatic creatures are making a big comeback! Kourtney Kardashian also shared a photo earlier this week of niece North West and her daughter Penelope Disick meeting a mermaid during their family trip to St. Barts.
In the cute candid, little Nori and Penelope are both wearing miniature mermaid skirts as they gaze in fascination at the costumed character. "Last night we swam with a mermaid," the mother-of-three posted with the pic.
There's an entire website dedicated to crafting various swimmable mermaid tails -- and we can definitely see this trend rolling over to next summer, too!
