Selena Gomez Says She's Dating Again -- But Would She Get Back with Bieber?

The "Heart Wants What It Wants" singer covers the October issue of Elle magazine, where she gets extremely candid about her past relationships and current views on dating.

While Gomez infamously dated Justin Bieber on-and-off over the last few years, she says they are still friends.

"I'll forever support him and love him in a way that.... We grew up together," she confesses. "I think people want it to be different."

"Nobody was married. There was no.... I respect him. And I think he respects me, in a healthy manner," she continues.

The pop star also says, that while she is in fact dating again, she isn't looking for anything "serious" at the moment.

"Finding somebody is not my main focus. I've dated people. I've been on a few dates, which is really exciting," she says. "But I've never wanted to get into anything serious, because I kind of did that. I have my guard up. I like to meet people in organic settings. Hanging out with a group of people and meeting through mutual people."

So would she ever consider getting back together with the "What Do You Mean" singer? "I don't know!" she says with a laugh.

And when it comes to BFF Taylor Swift, it sounds like both she and the "Wildest Dreams" singer have definitely done their fair share of growing up over the last few years.

"It isn't easy for her to put herself out there, knowing that a lot of the media will try and twist her lyrics into a headline about her ex-boyfriend," she says about Swift. "She doesn't care anymore. Now she knows that good music rises above and outlasts the weekly cycle of ridiculous headlines. We talk about this all the time. What ultimately matters is helping someone you've never met go through a hard time because you articulated how they feel in your music."
