We all know that Katy Perry is a style chameleon, but her latest mane makeover has us scratching our heads!
The "Rise" singer was snapped at LAX wearing colorful hair wraps, which peaked out under her black baseball cap as she walked through the airport. She tried to go incognito, pairing her bold new 'do with a black Adidas tracksuit.
We almost didn't notice her crazy hair accessories because we were distracted by her adorable dog!
The Grammy winner isn't afraid to change up her look, telling PEOPLE that she is willing to "try everything once."
However, she doesn't let critics get her down, admitting that she finds the idea of growing older "freeing."
"In your twenties, you spend too much time worrying about what people think of you, and financially, can be sort of a mess," she tells the mag. "Your thirties are about independence, loving yourself as you are, financial freedom, consciousness, and good company. I heard your forties are even better."
For this reason, Perry stressing about the signs of aging, either. "I haven't spotted a gray yet — I've been dying my hair jet black since I was 15," she says. When it comes to wrinkles, Katy reveals they "are not your enemy — they're just proof that you've smiled."
In fact, she thinks she will look just like "Paula Deen" in 30 years. (Not with this hairstyle!)
