The Kardashians have turned NYFW into their own personal catwalk -- but one of Kylie Jenner's looks is causing some serious controversy.
While she first made headlines for her bleach blonde, Kim Kardashian-esque new 'do, it's something she wore on top of her mane over the weekend that's garnering negative attention now. Sitting front row at the Jonathan Simkhai fashion show on Saturday afternoon, the 19-year old accessorized her platinum locks with a do-rag (or doo-rag).
She paired the look with embellished cut-offs, a white bandeau top, oversized bedazzled denim jacket, and white lace-up booties.
Though she was clearly feeling herself, posting glimpses of the ensemble on Instagram and Snapchat, some of her followers were not fans of this look -- accusing her of taking cultural appropriation too far.
Looks like that last follower was definitely right!
This isn't the first time Kylie has been accused of appropriating black culture. From her cornrows in the past to the Yaki ponytail she rocked at the Alexander Wang show back in February, Twitter is on top of the reality star's ever style misstep.
