Weinstein Company
The Weinstein Company is shedding some light on Benedict Cumberbatch's Thomas Edison movie, by releasing the first official image of the inventor in "The Current War."
Directed by Alfonso Gomez Rejon ("Me and Earl and the Dying Girl," "American Horror Story"), the film centers on the rivalry between Edison and George Westinghouse (Michael Shannon) as they race "create a marketable and sustainable electricity system" in 19th century America.

Nicholas Hoult will also star as Nikola Tesla.
Tom Holland, Katherine Waterston and Tuppence Middleton also co-star in the film, which doesn't yet have a release date.
