Lisa Rinna's words are starting to bite her in the ass on "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills."
The women have been battling over comments Rinna made about Kim Richards's sobriety earlier this season. While viewers at home know exactly what she said -- since it was aired on the show -- Lisa hasn't copped to it yet.
To anyone playing catchup: In a conversation with Eden Sassoon, Rinna said Richards was "close to death." Eden then relayed that intel to Lisa Vanderpump, who in turn told Kyle. Kyle confronted Rinna over it on vacation in Mexico, where the former soap star said she couldn't remember saying those words.
On Tuesday, it was Rinna's turn for a confrontation, taking Sassoon to task for starting a game of "Real Housewives" telephone by talking to Vanderpump "behind by back." Rinna continued to claim ignorance over what she absolutely said, telling Sassoon she was "hurt" and "disappointed" she'd share details from a private conversation between them (that was filmed for a television show, let's remind you) to any of the other women.
"You start to second guess yourself," Sassoon told TooFab about how certain she was Rinna had made those comments. "I started to think, 'Am I out of my mind?' At this point, my emotions are running wild, so much stuff on my sister and me healing from that and talking about it so much was coming up, I was literally spinning."
"I didn't know, honestly, I had no idea how she was going to show up to that park meeting. No idea," she continued. "What I did know was that her and I had this really special, more than what we see, connection. I felt that when she truly sat there and looked me in the eye, there was no way this woman, having gone through all we've gone through thus far, could attack me."
Of Lisa's ultimatum to not have conversations behind her back, Sassoon expressed shock.
"I'm thinking to myself, are you out of your mind?! Are you seriously out of your mind?! What are you talking about? One, I'm not talking behind your back. Two, you're not listening to me when I'm with you," she said. "What else do you want me to do? I have no other option then to do what I choose to do, what made me feel right, with a woman that would listen to me."
Eden added she had no regrets about talking to Vanderpump or getting involved in Richards' sobriety conversation in the first place, because she's getting her message out there.
"Every single day I have minimum of 20 people reach out to me. Minimum. And whether it's online or I give them my number or email back and forth, people go through some serious, serious things in life," she said of the outreach she's received since being on the show. "Every single day, I'm reminded that what I'm doing and what I'm talking about relates to people suffering in this world. If that's why I'm here, that's why I'm here and I'm okay with that, completely okay with that."
As for where things are between Sassoon in Rinna now, it doesn't sound too good.
"Lisa likes to say, 'Eden it's just a show.' No Lisa, it's not and you hurt me," Sassoon added. "I don't know what an apology, a real apology looks like. We'll see what happens after the reunion and or next season, I'm not sure. What a real apology looks like to me is someone who I can really trust and so if that woman ever wants me to trust her again, there is a lot of work that needs to be done. I will not let her off the line."
