Although Kellyanne Conway faced backlash from critics on Twitter Tuesday over that comfy couch shot in the Oval Office, Trevor Noah didn't seem to mind.
“Who cares about the feet on the couch when you've got the asshole behind the desk," the "Daily Show" host joked in the video (above). “Some people say she was being rude. I don't think it's rude, it's just alternative manners.”
Noah shifted from the latest Conway controversy to all those angry constituents at town hall meetings across the nation during the first congressional recess.
After showing clips of angry protesters and town hall audiences chanting "shame," Noah asked, "Do you know how bad you have to be to turn all of your constituents into the shame nun in 'Game of Thrones?'"
Since the GOP has been characterizing the protesters at meetings with state representatives as “bust in professional agitators," Noah sent "Daily Show" correspondent Desib Lydic to investigate at a Republican town hall in Alabama.
After finding out how to spot paid protesters from the crowd outside, Lydic hilariously made her way to some of the supporters to “direct” their responses to some of her questions, leaving most of them thoroughly confused.
