Should Anderson Cooper have rolled his eyes at Kellyanne Conway on CNN? Debatable. Is it sexist? Nope it's not, at least according to the women of "The View."
The subject was one of Friday's Hot Topics, as the panel laughed off Conway's remarks to "Fox and Friends" that she faces "sexism a lot of times" when she does interviews like the one with Cooper.
"Stupidity does not have a gender," co-host Sara Haines said right off the bat. "What she's saying there, I was thinking, 'Seriously?' Some people say she's good at her job, but I say a true spin artist doesn't let you know you just spun and you're in a totally different location and don't know how you just got there."
"That's not Kellyanne Conway," she added.
Why Kellyanne Conway Thinks Anderson Cooper Is Sexist
View Story"This is also the one who claimed he was using 'alternative facts,'" said Joy Behar. "When the eyes roll, its not again with this lie."
While Jedediah Bila said she didn't think the eye roll was sexist either, she added she feels if someone from the left like Nancy Pelosi were in the same situation "segments of population on the left that would say immediately, 'That's sexist.'"
After Joy said "When she lies all the time, she deserved an eye roll," the situation got a little heated as Bila asked, "Did Hillary deserve an eye roll when she lied? She lied repeatedly!"
"Grow up," Joy shot back, but with a smile on her face.
Late-Night Hosts Continue to Rage Against Donald Trump for Firing Comey
View StoryGuest host Hasan Minhaj from "The Daily Show" then compared the entire situation to an MTV series.
"Every time you interview the Trump administration, it's like being on that old TV show 'Boiling Points,'" he said. "They keep talking and it's like, wait, just wait. At some point you have to just be like, 'You're insane.'"
