"Felicity" star Scott Speedman had just as hard a time adjusting to Keri Russell's infamous haircut as the rest of the world did back in the day. But, unlike the rest of us, he had to do it while dating her.
The former co-stars and onetime couple reunited on "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" on Tuesday following Keri's Walk of Fame star ceremony earlier in the day. During the most entertaining portion of the interview (above), Speedman admitted he was not the best boyfriend.
Jimmy Kimmel made sure to bring up Russell's headline-making haircut during the interview, which the "Animal Kingdom" star described as both a "big deal" and a "real story point" for the show.

"I got to work, she turned around the corner and my face kind of froze in a half panic, half smile situation. I just did not pull it off. It was a Chia pet kind of vibe, but it grew into something great."
When Kimmel pressed for more details on why he was such a bad beau, Speedman replied, "She does not need to answer that, this is not the time Dr. Phil. Let's just leave that totally alone!"
"A young 20s boyfriend is called a disaster of a boyfriend," Russell added.

"I really don't think so," Speedman said when Kimmel asked if it'll ever happen. "I would do it," he added, "Some people are on really high-class shows [pointing at Keri]. I'd do it in a heartbeat. I'll be on Lifetime in no time!"
Earlier in the show, a solo Russell also dug into Speedman for his reaction to her star ceremony.
The 41-year-old actress revealed how her former co-star kept asking what time she'd be putting her hands and feet into the cement in front of the Chinese Theater, an honor she was not getting.
"He's like, 'I'm coming just for like the star thing?' I was like, 'F-ck you Scott," she said with a laugh.
Speedman is currently starring on TNT's "Animal Kingdom" which debuted Monday night, while Russell headline's FX's "The Americans."
