Ali Fedotowsky is loving this season of "The Bachelorette" because a strong, independent woman is in charge.
The former Bachelorette and on-air personality told TooFab that she thinks Rachel Lindsay is "killing it."
"I can't give her any advice because one, she's just killing it," Fedotowsky said while promoting her new campaign with Goodness Knows. "She is just handling it so well. But I don't know what it's like to be in her shoes. I know what it's like to be a Bachelorette, but I don't know what it's like to be a Bachelorette with race as a factor in there too. It's just not something that I ever had to deal with, but I think she's doing a great job and I think she knows what she's doing."
'Bachelorette' Doesn't Think Corinne Should Return to 'Bachelor in Paradise'
View StoryFedotowsky first joined the ABC reality competition franchise when she was a "Bachelor" contestant after Jake Pavelka's heart. She chose her job at Facebook over staying on the show, but she returned to the franchise as the main star of "The Bachelorette" in Season 6.
Fedotowsky was particularly impressed by Lindsay's response to previous "Bachelor" contestant Leah Block, who tweeted that her roommate mistook this season's diverse cast for VH1's reality show "Love and Hip Hop."
"I love this tweet that she sent out the other day, where one of the past Bachelor contestants made a pretty controversial tweet that was very inappropriate and Rachel fired back online say that her friend should hook up with Lee because they have a lot in common because Lee [Garrett] is not making the best comments on the Bachelorette," she said.

And for those fans of the show who regularly host or attend "Bachelorette" viewing parties, Fedotowsky has a snack recommendation.
“I don't know about you, but my 'Bachelorette' viewing parties are all about the chocolate and the wine so Goodness Knows snack squares are perfect for a 'Bachelorette' viewing party because you get your red wine, you get your girlfriends, you have little snack squares," she said. "And you know, us girls we like to watch our waistlines and make sure we're not having too many calories, and you know how many calories you're getting for each square? It's 150 calories for all four squares and I'm telling you with a nice glass of wine, you can't go wrong.”
