While in Russia during his The Late Show hiatus, Stephen Colbert stopped by the Evening Urgant, a Russian late-night talk show hosted by Ivan Urgant.
During a game of Russian Roulette, which involved vodka shots and pickles, Colbert dropped a bombshell announcement one the Russian viewers.

View StoryWhile making sure the show is "not shown in the United States," Colbert told the Russian audience, "I am here to announce that I am considering a run for president in 2020, and I thought it would be better to cut out the middleman and just tell the Russians myself."
"If anyone would like to work on my campaign in an unofficial capacity," the host added, "please just let me know."
Of course he could not leave without getting a few jabs in at the POTUS. "To the beautiful and friendly Russian people," Colbert said while toasting, "I don't understand why no members of the Trump administration can remember meeting you."
