Former "Melrose Place" and "Beverly Hills, 90210" stars Grant Show and Luke Perry are featured in a clever CW promo teasing the network's Wednesday lineup, which reunites the two actors 20 years after their characters crossed over in the two iconic Aaron Spelling shows.
As next week's Season 2 premiere of "Riverdale" and the pilot of "Dynasty" approach, the two actors find themselves once again on companion shows, of course this time on a different network.
"Have we met? You look familiar," Show says to Perry. "Where'd you go to high school?"
"A little high school in Beverly Hills," Perry said.
9 'Riverdale' Season 2 Secrets from Comic-Con
View StoryFans of the original "90210" and "Melrose Place" -- in which Perry starred as Dylan McKay and Show starred as Jake Hanson, respectively -- will remember Show appeared for a multi-episode run at the end of the second season of "90210" as a love interest for Jennie Garth's Kelly Taylor. The backdoor pilot arc set up Spelling and Darren Star's "MP" spinoff, which also featured appearances by Tori Spelling, Brian Austin Green and Ian Ziering made appearances as their "Beverly Hills, 90210" characters in the first few episodes of "Melrose Place." The companion shows both aired on Fox, now actors share the Wednesday lineup on The CW.
Another fun fact: Since Hanson and McKay were both romantically involved with "90210's" Kelly Taylor that technically makes them fictional eskimo brothers. Cheers!
"Riverdale" airs next Wednesday at 8, with "Dynasty" following at 9 on The CW.
