After condemning Harvey Weinstein for accusations of sexual harassment and abuse, Ben Affleck apologized on Wednesday for his own inappropriate behavior around an actress.
The "Justice League" star caught wind of actress Hilarie Burton ("One Tree Hill") discussing an infamous "TRL" moment, during which he groped the former MTV VJ's breast during an on-camera interview in 2001, and tweeted out a short admission and apology.
I acted inappropriately toward Ms. Burton and I sincerely apologize

Burton, who now stars on FOX's "Lethal Weapon" series, initially laughed off the incident, but got more serious about it on Tuesday when a fan brought it up.
After someone on Twitter said the Affleck "should've just kept quiet" about Weinstein, another user chimed in, adding, "He also grabbed Hilarie Burton's breasts on TRL once. Everyone forgot though."
"I didn't forget," Burton tweeted back.
I didn't forget.

The fan then told the actress how "sorry" she was that happened, adding, "It's infuriating that people never bring up all the gross, predatory things he's done." Burton's response: "Seriously, thank you for that. I was a kid."

Hilarie later shared a clip of "TRL" outtakes on her timeline in which she's seen saying, "He wraps his arm around me, comes over and tweaks my left boob," a reference to Affleck. She also tweeted, "Girls. I'm so impressed with you brave ones. I had to laugh back then so I wouldn't cry. Sending love."

Another clip from a "TRL" highlight reel shows some of Burton's interview with Affleck. While Burton talks about the incident in a voice over, there isn't a clear angle of what happened.
"I'm just like, 'What are you doing?!'" she exclaimed in the confessional. "Some girls like a good tweakage here and there, um, I'd rather have a high-five."
