Tomi Lahren's patriotic Halloween costume backfired, hard.
"Oh LA get ready to find your safe spaces! What am I? Well if you're a conservative, I'm American AF. If you're a lib, I'm 'offensive.' Let's go," Lahren captioned a photo of her look on Instagram.
The Fox News commentator wore a "Make America Great Again" one piece, fanny pack and an American flag cape. But it wasn't the Donald Trump reference that got her trolled on Twitter, it was the way she represented the American flag.
While Fox News commentator Ryan Fournier hailed the look as "the MOST patriotic costume," Lahren was called out for violating the United States Flag Code. According to the code, "No part of the flag should ever be used as a costume or athletic uniform."
