A United States government shutdown went into effect Friday at midnight -- and Hollywood is livid.
On the one-year anniversary of President Donald Trump's inauguration, Republican senators failed to reach the necessary 60 votes to pass a bill that would have funded the government for 30 days. While five Democrats voted with the Republicans to push a spending bill vote, four Republicans voted with Democrats.
