Oscar winner Mo'Nique is asking her fans to boycott Netflix over claims the online streaming service is "gender bias and color bias."
The longtime comedian explained the reasoning for her plea in an Instagram video, saying "I was offered a $500,000-deal last week to do a comedy special; however, Amy Schumer was offered $11 million, Chris Rock and Dave Chappelle -- $20 million. Then Amy Schumer went back and renegotiated two more million dollars because she said, 'I shouldn't get what the men are getting. They're legends; however, I should get more,' and Netflix agreed."

Mo'Nique said she then asked the streaming service what it was about fellow comedian Amy Schumer that made her able to renegotiate her deal. The company told her Schumer "sold out Madison Square Garden twice and she had a big movie over the summer."

Mo'Nique said Netflix also referred to her as a "legend." If that's the case, she asked, then why shouldn't she make what the legends are making?
"Please stand with me in this boycott of Netflix," she urged her fans. "I love us for real."
