The "Avengers: Infinity War" cast played a Facebook Live version of "Family Feud", and we were immediately disappointed.
For starters, there was no Steve Harvey in sight. Sure, it's great that the film's directors Joe and Anthony Russo wanted to emcee this, but even the two of them can't equal the glory that is one Steve Harvey.
Let's just say the man knows how to react to a wack-a-doodle response like no other and move on.
Steve Harvey Declares Kanye West the Best 'Celebrity Family Feud' Contestant Ever
View StoryBut that wasn't the worst offense of the broadcast. We'll give that to the sound mix, which apparently believes we want to hear every sniffle the Russo brothers make, but barely be able to make out any of the film's actual stars. So, you know, thanks for that.
The cast was split into two teams with Avengers Blue (Chris Pratt, Letitia Wright, Scarlett Johansson, Anthony Mackie and Dave Bautista) taking on Avengers Red...or Pink? Lavender! (Zoe Saldana, Benedict Cumberbatch, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Hemsworth, Sebastian Stan and Pom Klementieff).
They had to square off against low production values and tough questions like "Which 'Infinity War' character would put on the best concert?" and "Which one would you want to take to prom?"
The whole affair looked both terrible and like a lot of fun. The fact that it was interactive with Facebook fans made it even more engaging and exciting for fans, who should get more opportunities like this to interact with their favorite stars of blockbuster films. The cast was clearly having a good time trying to guess how Facebookers might have voted, and just enjoying their time together.
Chris Evans Sounds Like He's Done Playing Captain America After 'Avengers 4'
View StoryBut seriously. How much money have Disney and Marvel made off of this franchise now? They couldn't afford decent lighting, sound or Steve Harvey?
We expect much higher quality out of "Avengers: Infinity War," in theaters this Friday.
