Ellen DeGeneres says she should've been invited to the royal wedding because she's "responsible" for bringing Meghan Markle her real true love.
"I'm a little hurt that I wasn't invited to the royal wedding because, first of all, I'm family," Ellen said in her monologue Friday, after asking the audience if they'll be getting up early to watch Prince Harry tie the knot with the "Suits" star. "I'm related to Kate Middleton. I'm her 15th cousin, and that is true and she's the Duchess of Windsor and I'm the Lady of Burbank."

"She said in an interview that years ago she was at a dog rescue and apparently I was there and I said, 'You have to take that dog home' and 'cause I told her to, she took it home."
"I don't remember any of this," Ellen added. "But I did change Meghan Markle's life that day, because when you get a dog it gives you unconditional love and without that she would have been lonely and she would have been looking for love in the wrong places."
The host continued to discuss the downward spiral that could have ensued Markle's if Ellen didn't intervene, joking the actress would have ended up in a life of crime.
"I'm sure it's going to be beautiful, but you know, sometimes things can go beautifully wrong at weddings," the comedian said, before playing a montage of wedding fails.
