Bella Thorne may have been the leading lady of "Famous in Love," but apparently didn't even get a phone call ahead of Freeform's decision to cancel it.
News broke on Tuesday afternoon that the TV drama would not return for a third season, amid rumors that Thorne didn't get along with showrunner I. Marlene King, who more famously created "Pretty Little Liars." Well, apparently Thorne found out like the rest of us, and she wasn't happy about it.

View Story"If this is how I find out our show is canceled, I'm going to be so upset," she tweeted with a link to an article. "Very hurtful Freeform. I woulda liked a phone call maybe."
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Freeform had the intention of doing a third season of the show, but wanted Hulu -- which has streaming rights for the show -- to give a larger contribution.

View StorySources also told THR that the news of the cancellation was a relief for many members of the show's production. Thorne reportedly bumped heads with King and exhibited "diva-like behavior" on set.
The show's season finale on May 30 will now serve as the series finale.
