"Real Housewives of New York" star Luann de Lesseps has checked back into rehab.
In a statement provided to PEOPLE by Bethenny Frankel, who was authorized by Lu to speak for her, her costar said, "This weekend, Luann was surrounded by her girlfriends and decided — with their support — that in light of recent circumstances, it is the healthiest choice for her not to attend Tuesday's reunion taping so that she can continue in her healing process."
"Luann is now surrounded by a core group of people who truly have her best interests at heart and who are working to make sure she gets the help she needs," she added.

Bethenny also said that "Recent additional family stress was a catalyst to her taking a break," likely alluding to her ex-husband and two children -- Alexandre, Victoria and Noel de Lesseps, respectively -- filing a lawsuit against her claiming she didn't keep her end of the divorce deal signed back in 2009.

"Bravo supports Luann's decision to focus on her health," said the network. "She is part of the Bravo family and we continue to stand by her as she copes with this challenging situation. At this time, we hope everyone will respect her privacy."
de Lesseps was arrested in Palm Beach on December 27, 2017 and charged with 5 crimes, four of which are felonies: battery on a law enforcement officer, resisting arrest with violence, and 2 counts of corruption by threat. She allegedly told cops, "I'm going to kill you all." She pleaded not guilty and entered treatment at the same.
She celebrated six months of sobriety in an Instagram post earlier this month:
