Bethenny Frankel's on-again, off-again boyfriend was found dead in his Trump Tower condo Friday morning after a suspected overdose.
Since 2016, Bethenny and Dennis Shields, 51, were in what the "Real Housewives of New York" star described as an "on-and-off" relationship. The New York Police Department told TooFab that emergency medical services arrived at Dennis' Manhattan high-rise at 9:19 a.m. local time, where a man was found unconscious and unresponsive.

View StoryDennis has made numerous appearances on "The Real Housewives of New York." Bethenny brought him up as recently as this past Wednesday.
During the episode, Bethenny was chatting with co-star Dorinda Medley about her relationship ups and downs with boyfriend John Mahdessian when she brought up her own relationship.
"You're just lucky that John's never going anywhere," Bethenny said. "I didn't say it to Dennis, but in my own mind, I said, '90 days. I'm not saying a word to Dennis for 90 days.' It's a really hard thing to realize that someone you love just doesn't mean they're the right person, and I wish he was."
Speaking about her massive new townhouse, Bethenny said, "I may live here forever alone, and I'm okay with that."

View StoryBethenny previously described her relationship with Dennis as "a little bit like business" while appearing on Steve Harvey's daytime talk show.
"I've been with someone on and off for years," she said. "It's like a partnership where if we're not being teammates and it's not working and one man is down, then the other man is down. We're trying to really kind of be good partners and be good teammates, and I think relationships oddly are -- and this sounds cold -- but a little bit like business."
Bethenny's former best friend and co-star, Carole Radziwill, responded to the "sad news" on Twitter, writing, "I just heard the sad news about Dennis. He was a good man. My condolences to all his family and friends. So tragic."
Ironically, Carole's husband died 19 years ago to the day.
