Anna, Elsa, Kristoff, Olaf, and Sven are back in the highly-anticipated sequel to the 2013 hit.
Olaf might love summer, but it looks like this fall will be bringing a magical "Frozen" storm.
In the first trailer for the highly-anticipated sequel to the 2013 animated phenomenon, Elsa (Idina Menzel), Anna (Kristen Bell), Kristoff (Jonathan Groff) and Olaf (Josh Gad) are back for a new adventure that's surely going to be another huge hit.

View StoryThe teaser begins with Elsa testing out the limits of her magical powers, as she charges into a body of water, sliding and jumping across the swelling surf. On her second attempt, Elsa scales a gigantic wave by freezing portions of the water, only to have it collapse into frozen pieces.
The clip then shows flashes of Anna and Kristoff also participating in some action sequences of their own -- Kristoff rides Sven as a herd of reindeer charge behind them. Anna scales a cliff and bravely leaps across it.
We also see Elsa using her powers by shooting out ice, while she protects our favorite snowman Olaf as a dangerous hot pink fire closes in on them. Two new characters (possibly voiced by new castmembers Sterling K. Brown and Evan Rachel Wood?) are also introduced.
The trailer ends with Anna, Elsa, Kristoff, Sven and Olaf staring off a cliff into an autumn landscape. After the logo flashes across the screen, we see Anna grab Kristoff's sword from his scabbard and swipe it at an unseen threat.
Up until now, the plot for the Walt Disney Animation Studios sequel has been mostly under wraps. It looks like we'll still be waiting for more information as to what the storyline entails. However, the film's IMDb page states the plot as, "Elsa, Anna, Kristoff and Olaf are going far in the forest to know the truth about an ancient mystery of their kingdom."
Besides the original cast, Academy Award-winning team-directors Jennifer Lee and Chris Buck, producer Peter Del Vecho and Oscar-winning songwriting team Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez, have also returned. Writers for "Frozen 2" include Lee as well as Allison Schroeder ("Hidden Figures.")
We can't hold it back anymore, we're pumped. Take our money, Disney.
