Hear "A Whole New World" and "Friend Like Me" in the new sneak peek at Disney's live-action remake.
Welcome to "A Whole New World," this time, with music!
Disney just dropped another trailer for its upcoming live-action remake of "Aladdin," starring Will Smith as the Genie and Mena Massoud in the titular role.
While previous sneak peeks have only given us glimpses of the big wish granter, however, he's all over this preview -- both in blue form and looking a lot more like the regular Will Smith.
The new footage shows Smith's all powerful (but still not free) lamp resident showing off his powers by turning the street ray into a bona fide prince to impress Princess Jasmine, the woman of his dreams.
This preview also gives us our first listen to some of the original film's classic songs, including Smith singing "Friend Like Me" with some trippy visuals inside the Cave of Wonders and Massoud and Jasmine (AKA Naomi Scott) doing a rendition of "A Whole New World" atop a magic carpet.
One complaint: Al's still rocking a shirt. Sorry, Twitter.
Here's the official synopsis from Disney:
