Dorinda and Luann have been on the outs since Dorinda threw Lu's drunk arrest in her face and then heckled her at her cabaret show.
It was the blondes versus the brunettes on Wednesday's "Real Housewives of New York."
Bethenny Frankel, Luann de Lesseps and Luann's friend Barbara Kavovit were hanging out on one side of The Hamptons while Dorinda Medley, Ramona Singer, Sonja Morgan and Tinsley Mortimer were gallivanting on the other.
'RHONY' Premiere: Bethenny Breaks Down Over Dennis' Death, Luann Addresses Relapse
View StoryThe main issue was between Dorinda and Luann, who have been on the outs since last season when Dorinda threw Lu's drunk arrest in her face and then heckled her at her cabaret show. Because of the tension, Barbara decided not to invite Dorinda to her clambake. Barbara's also not super fond of Ramona because Ramona's supposedly snubbed her a few times in the past, so she left her off the guest list, too.
When Dorinda got wind from Sonja that Sonja and Tinsley were the only blondes invited, Dorinda called Barbara and went off. Barbara could barely get a word in edgewise but did manage to let Dorinda know that if she could call Lu and patch things up then she'd be happy to have her come to the clambake. Cue her second meltdown.
Once Dorinda calmed down, she wrote Lu a long text that Ramona actually approved of. The text read: "When you haven't forgiven those who've hurt you, you turn your back against your future. When you do forgive, you start walking forward." It was a quote from Tyler Perry. Lu was with Barbara when she got the message, and the two just about peed their pants.
"We love Tyler Perry, but really? Not Gandhi? Not even Oprah?" Lu told the camera. She decided not to reply.
'RHONY' Sneak Peek: Bethenny Mourns Dennis, Sonja Faceplants in Miami, Luann and Dorinda Feud Over Jovani Debacle
View StoryFast-forward to the clambake. Ramona either didn't get the memo or didn't care, but she waltzed right in with Sonja and Tinsley. She said her mission in going was to let Barbara know that she found it "ridiculous" that she wanted Dorinda to call Luann to apologize, "based on Luann's current behavior." Ramona also said Barbara needed to know "the truth" about her friend -- whatever that means.
Unfortunately, we'll have to wait and see how all those confrontations go down next week.
"The Real Housewives of New York" airs Wednesdays at 9 p.m. on Bravo.
