'KUWTK' Trailer Has Twitter Convinced Khloe-Tristan-Jordyn Cheating Scandal Was a Hoax

The moment Kim, Khloe and Kourtney posted the trailer for Season 16 of "Keeping Up with the Kardashians," Twitter erupted with lots and lots of skepticism.

Khloe's heartbreak and fury over baby daddy Tristan Thompson's alleged fling with Jordyn Woods are laid bare throughout the 90-second clip -- so much so that fans are questioning whether the scandal wasn't somehow orchestrated to ensure a strong, dramatic storyline that would no doubt lead to stellar ratings.

Here's what we know: News that the NBA player and Kylie Jenner's then-bestie were seen canoodling at a house party broke Feb. 19. Jordyn's subsequent appearance on Aunt Jada's "Red Table Talk" took place just 10 days later on March 1. Now it looks as if Kris Jenner and Co. kept cameras rolling while the drama was unfolding, then whipped up a trailer highlighting said drama and dropped it on March 27.

Will we still watch Season 16 when it premieres on March 31? Yes. Will everyone on the internet currently angry-tweeting about the trailer still watch the show? Yes. Will Kris Jenner profit financially whether or not she orchestrated even an ounce of this ordeal? Also yes. It should be noted, there is not a shred of evidence to suggest the momager did any such thing -- and she clearly has concern over the well-being of her daughter and grandchild. Plus, Khloe seems genuinely hurt and emotionally affected by yet another cheating scandal. But that doesn't take away from the fact that the internet believes Kris works harder than the devil.

"If Kris Jenner thinks she baited me into watching this season with her PR stunts, she absolutely did," one of literally thousands of fans tweeted after the trailer dropped.

"So y'all want me to believe that this is Khloe's real reaction to the situation and not the performance she put on when the cameras started rolling?" another shared.

"This Jordyn-Tristan fiasco happened last month, and y'all already got it in to this season? Shit. The devil works hard, but Kris Jenner works harder," another joked.
