Chris Hemsworth Talks 'Avengers' Future Beyond 'Endgame,' Gets Scared to Death on 'Ellen'

Don't look for Chris Hemsworth to explain what's going to happen in "Avengers: Endgame," because the Thor actor says he genuinely has no idea.

Between filming the movie at the same time as "Infinity War" and the fact he and the cast have yet to see a final cut while they've been doing the promotional blitz, Chris told Ellen DeGeneres he's not even sure if he survives this one.

In fact, he said he just got to the point where it was all he could do to simply learn his lines each day and trust in the rest of the team to turn it all into something that makes sense.

As for what's next, Ellen asked him if he'd still be interested in continuing on as the Norse God of Thunder should he, in fact, survive the upcoming "Endgame."

"This is sort of Marvel's Phase 3 wrapping up, the culmination of this journey. Whether or not they go off and then shoot other things -- prequels or sequels or whatever they can do .. so who knows what's in store for anyone," Hemsworth conceded.

"Me personally, it's the best fun I've ever had," he continued. "And I'd be happy to do more if they wanted me."

Hemsworth has been with the franchise since 2011, when he starred in the fourth film of the Marvel Cinematic Universe and the first in his own franchise. Since then, he's appeared in two more "Thor" movies and three "Avengers" films.

Elsewhere on the show, Ellen put Chris' sales techniques to the test, as he now shills his own product; a fitness program called Centr. But for this one, she thought it would be more challenging (and funny) for him to "Pitch This" about a product he knew nothing about.

That's how she got him talking about the benefits of a rash cream for intimacy. The whole thing just got more and more silly as it progresses until Chris was saying he used the product to help intimacy in his marriage, and even said the other Marvel Chrises and Robert Downey, Jr. also use it. Scarlett Johansson, to her credit, apparently doesn't need it.

Finally, Chris proved that he clearly hasn't been paying enough attention to Ellen's show, even though he uses a promotional image of himself from it as his social media profile picture.

When Ellen starts digging deep and asking you about what it is you might be afraid of, start backing away from that table between the chairs.

Chris, on the other hand, was practically leaning over it, which meant he was up close and personal when Ellen's scare erupted from inside. We don't know what it is, but watching celebrities jump out of their skin just never get old.
